Donating to the Huakaʻi I Nā Hōkū silent auction is a meaningful way to support hands-on field trips for nearly 3,000 students each year, the care of Hawaiʻi's two oldest Western-style houses, and one of the world's most extensive Hawaiian-language archives.
To donate, please contact Keʻalohilani Wong, who coordinates our silent auction, at the Hale Kuʻai gift shop: (808) 447-3910 or giftshop@missionhouses.org. She'll help arrange drop-off and answer any questions.
The deadline for silent auction donations is Saturday, August 8, 2026. This gives our team time to catalog each item, thoughtfully bundle pieces into special packages, and photograph and promote your donation so it draws the attention—and the bids—it deserves.
If you're able, we'd love for you to include a photo of your item with your email; it gives us a head start on showcasing your donation beautifully.
Bidding made easy. Our silent auction opens online one week before the event and closes at 7:15 p.m. on the evening of September 12. Set up your online bidding profile in advance so you're ready the moment bidding begins. Your credit card information is fully encrypted and secure.
Please note: once received, your donation becomes the property of Hawaiian Mission Houses, and the donor relinquishes rights to the item.
